So that when Windows loads it sees a normal mouse connected and installs its standard drivers. Many trackpads appear as normal mice under Windows. The installation is easy and it is set-up to automatically start when the computer boots up.
If there is a "Dell touchpad" or "synaptics " or whatever touchpad you have you need to disable it, if there is a disable option. It takes very little in the way of resources and solved the problem for me.
